Training Programs
One Year Introductory Program
The One Year Introductory Program consists of the first four courses of the Program in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. They are designed to expose the candidate to basic psychoanalytic concepts and their relevance to both diagnosis and treatment without requiring a commitment to supervision and personal treatment.
Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Three-Year Program
The Program in Psychotherapy is a 3 year program consisting of twelve courses. Most classes, as well as supervision and personal psychotherapy, take place in faculty offices since classes are no longer being held at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Program in Psychoanalysis
The Program in Psychoanalysis is a continuation of the Program in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. All requirements of the Program in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy must be completed before a candidate can move on into the fourth year.
The New Jersey Couples Therapy Training Program
The New Jersey Couples Therapy Training program is a two year program consisting of eight courses. Students will take two courses per 15 week semester, one of which is more theoretical and one of which is more clinical. Classes will be offered at Fairleigh Dickinson University or in faculty offices.
